DYNAMIC TEXT New

On every site there exists a certain amount of 'special text' which, from time to time, may need to be updated.  To save time and increase productivity the dynamic text area allows editors to make global changes to the site from one area.

For example let us suppose they name one of your main products 'Red Widgets'.  Editors could set up some dynamic text i.e. #ProductName# = Red Widgets.  Now when writing content on the site, editors will write #ProductName# every time they want to write 'Red Widgets'.

Let suppose six months after the site launches the marketing department decide to rename the product to 'Blue Widgets'.  This could have meant hundreds of pages to be checked and updated.  However dynamic text means that this task can be accomplished in seconds.

Other examples of possible dynamic text:

• Company name
• Main contact email address
• Main telephone number
• Main fax number
• Main company address etc.
